PILOT INITIATIVE: SEKOLAH CONTOH SPOT
SPOT had adopted a primary school, SK Taman Permata (an urban rural school), as a self-funded initiative to test out our syllabus and training module. This initiative had benefited the school and SPOT, as all 55 adolescent girls were more educated in puberty related issues by the end of the eight week program. Positive benefits included an increase in awareness of what puberty is, an increase in confidence to go through puberty, an increase in self-preservation knowledge creating a more aware and empowered group.
This initiative had allowed SPOT to grow by collaborating with related professionals from government and non-governmental bodies to create a self-sustainable system that can be implemented at a national scale.
