RCSEQ (pronounced as rescue) is an independent, women-led initiative working on advocating Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) in Malaysia.

 

Founded in late 2018 by two SRHR female advocates, RCSEQ is committed in creating awareness through educational programs and initiatives that mobilize the community especially for the young people/teenagers and adults due to the overwhelming evidence that the protection and promotion of SRHR in Malaysia has taken a back seat.

 

Various reasons including moral and religion are used to justify the restrictions imposed on SRHR education and services especially on comprehensive sexuality education (CSE) and services for youth including contraception and safe abortion.
